ITEM offers several ways that you can order and pay for your products:
OPTION 1 Simply use ITEM’s secure on-line shopping cart system by clicking on any of the “Add to Shopping Cart” or “Buy Now” links. ITEM uses the latest in Internet security technology to ensure that your transaction is safe, secure and solid. Click on the gold locks below to learn more about ITEM’s secure shopping cart system. The on-line shopping cart is ITEM’s preferred option for receiving and processing orders.
There are four ways to place order once you add products to your cart: 1) Pay using your Visa, Mastercard or American Express credit card, 2) Print out a complete order form and mail or fax it to ITEM, 3) Execute a wire transfer of funds from your account to ITEM’s (our account details are presented once you select this option), and 4) Submit your order to ITEM using the shopping cart and an ITEM representative will contact you by telephone for your credit card information. If you elect to perform a direct wire transfer, please contact ITEM once you have transferred the funds.
OPTION 2 Call ITEM’s international toll-free number, 1-888-304-ITEM, and either: 1) Talk to a live representative and specify the products you would like to order and your credit card information, 2) Leave a message on ITEM’s international voice mail service (if a live representative is not available), specifying the desired products, your mailing address, telephone number, email address, preferred shipping method, and credit card information, or 3) Fax your order and credit card information to ITEM’s automated fax answering service when prompted by the menu. ITEM will compute the total price of your products, including shipping & handling costs for the preferred method of shipment you specify, and email or telephone you to confirm the order prior to completing the transaction (except in those cases where ITEM’s representative is able to provide this information for you over the phone). Please be sure to indicate your email address and telephone number so we can contact you.
OPTION 3 Mail your order to ITEM’s US office at: ITEM, Order Processing Department, 6270 Hollow Drive, East Petersburg, PA 17520, USA. Be sure to include your email address, telephone number, mailing address, and preferred method of shipment. ITEM will compute the total price of your products and email or telephone you to confirm the order prior to completing the transaction. We prefer that you send your credit card information, but you can also send a money order, personal or business check or an international bank draft in US dollars. We prefer that you not send cash. If you send a money order, check or bank draft, please be sure to include the total amount for your products, including the shipping and handling costs. These amounts are available here.
We also expect to offer payment services through PayPal.com in the near future.
The shipping service ITEM normally uses is the US Postal Service. We generally make two to three trips to the post office per week. Please allow up to three business days for ITEM to process and package your order for shipment (however, in most cases ITEM can fulfill your order in one to two days).
The on-line shopping cart system provides domestic customers with two shipping options through the US Postal Service: Priority Mail (2 to 4-day delivery) and Express Mail (1 to 2-day delivery, usually next day). All packages have a delivery confirmation or tracking number, which can be sent to you via email upon request. Due to limited staff and the volume of orders we receive, we have only been notifying customers that their packages have been shipped when a request is made to do so.
International customers receive packages from ITEM exclusively through Global Express Mail (in general 2 to 5 days depending on your location). All packages have a tracking number and are insured. Standard customs forms are completed and attached to the packages. In general, we value the contents of packages at the replacement costs to ITEM and not the retail value. If you have any special instructions (e.g., special invoices needed on package, specific statement on customs forms, etc.), please notify ITEM during placement of the order.
If you would like ITEM to ship your products using a courier other than the US Postal Service (e.g., DHL, FedEx, etc.), you must notify ITEM when placing your order. You cannot use ITEM’s on-line shopping cart system for orders that will be shipped by a courier other than the US Postal Service, because other couriers are more expensive, and the shopping cart has no way to calculate the costs. You should let us know your chosen custom shipping option, and we will calculate the total shipping and handling cost and add it to the amount for your products. We will then notify you of the total cost and wait for your confirmation prior to fulfilling the order.
