The Institute of Technical Energy Medicine, Inc. (ITEM) is an American Corporation originally founded in 1994 and reincorporated in 1998.  Our principle resources and activities are in Moscow,  Russia.  We are committed to using our resources to make contributions to science and advance the state of health care technologies.  For this reason,  we share offices with various affiliated medical centers and contracting research laboratories,  and we tend to operate out of the small private offices of our U.S. executives and associates.  Therefore,  while we are a multinational corporation, we are able to maintain the personal feel and close community involvement of a small business.  We always enjoy meeting people with a special interest in our field, and welcome them into our corporate family whenever possible.

Accordingly,  ITEM is not a place,  but rather a whole movement of dedicated individuals,  laboratories, and organizations,  all with a passion and special talents in the field of energy medicine and collaborative health care.
