Melanie Marin, MD

He earned both his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University, followed by a post-graduate residency with Walgreens at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy. His diverse experience spans large national chains, regional pharmacies, and independent settings in California and Texas, which has enriched his ability to mentor future pharmacists.

Dr. Pope’s leadership roles have been pivotal in shaping the future of pharmacy education and practice. As Assistant Division Head of Pharmacy Practice and Co-Director of the Lester Entrepreneurial Scholars Program, he has guided countless pharmacy professionals and residents, serving as Residency Program Director of the H-E-B/UT PGY1 Community-based Pharmacy Residency Program. Eric Kao, PharmD, BCPS
